ReplyDeleteI would think the opposite - no sale without a check, but a check might be made without a sale. (What if the check fails? Or the buyer withdraws?) There could be multiple weapons sold on one check, but that seems likely to be rare.
Not many checks fail. Usually <1%, I think. I am pretty sure a dealer will charge you for the check if you withdraw. My limited experience is you pay first.

DeleteAnd having spent 3.5 years selling guns, multi-gun sales are actually pretty common.
