Oh Boy! A New Word!
Scromiting. 11/3/25 The Hill reports on vomiting while screaming caused by "cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS)" which a relative who lives in a pot-friendly state developed.
I've been seeing CHS for a decade or more: The pathognomic sign is nausea is relieved by a hot shower....
And it can be quite dangerous: Violent vomiting can result in Mallory-Weiss tears of the esophagus near the stomach, which can result in severe bleeding. These are also seen often in severe alcoholism and anorexia/bulemia and can be fatal.
