Artificial Ignorance

I asked ChatGPT to produce murder rates for Tennessee after subtracting Memphis and Nashville (both bad places with Memphis almost implausible in its violence). It could not find 2019 population figures by city.  I had to tell it, "Crime in the United States 2919 Table 8."  Even then, results were bad.  I finally did it myself.  I hope it learned.

    This is why lawyers keep getting busted with AI-generated filings that cite mythical cases, case law, and events.

    I believe that Nashville has more shootings than the whole Miami-Dade county.
