"Broken Windows" Theory in the 18th Century
I am reading Eric Metaxas' Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery as you already know. On p. 78 is a discussion of Wilberforce's early version of "broken windows" theory.
