I Thought We Were Fully Suburban
The dogs went on a barking frenzy. Rhonda looked and saw the colors of a coyote. As it moved she could see it was a fox!
Like a lot of species, foxes have adapted to suburbia. Anyplace with enough rabbits and mice to support feral cats can support foxes, though they do need a place to den. Under decks seems to be prime real estate.
