Things That Seem 25th Century
Water from Air Generators. Yes, on Amazon. They are not cheap but if your solar panel survives the EMP, here is your water source. It used refrigeration to extract water vapor from the air
I don't see why one would consider these "21st century". They are just "food-grade" dehumidifiers; "food-grade" because the water from ordinary dehumidifiers is allegedly contaminated with metals from the copper tubing, and maybe mold or bacteria from ambient dust.

ReplyDeleteThey seem like they are better suited to Tatooine than Earth.
DeleteErr, how many solar panels do you need?
ReplyDeleteAlternatively, I live on the shore of the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi. And I have ways of purifying it.
No need for the Tatooine solution
I suspect several. I do not have the option of living on a lake.
DeleteJust what level of humidity do you need to have in order to pull water out of the air without needing one of these for every thirsty person?
