The father came home and found his wife and three children shot to death. The children and the mother were all shot in the head. The mother was also shot in the chest. An apparently new .22 German-made pistol between the mother's legs that the father “was unable to say where it had come from.” Police called it a murder-suicide with no apparent motive. I have my suspicions. How many people shoot themselves in both chest and head (besides Epstein, or various associates of Stalin and Putin). This happened in Oregon, Ohio. No, I had no idea an Oregon existed in Ohio.
My reading of the article seems to indicate that the youngest daughter was shot in the head and chest, and the mother was only shot in the head. A bit of a confusing read however.

ReplyDeleteAs for a suicide shooting oneself twice, I recall reading about a French Foreign Legionnaire in Corsica who murdered and raped a woman, and then "shot himself" with two shots to the head. Of course the Foreign Legion had people on the scene almost immediately which the person passing on the information found suspicious.
ReplyDeleteAs I read the story, it was on3 of the daughters that was sho5 in both head and chest, the mother was shot in the chest only.
