Big Kitty Has a Future

I took it McDowell's in Boise.  They confirmed the seat spring is okay.  The bottom seat cushion needs replacing.  Being a genuine Jaguar part it is $450 but replacing it (which requires removing the seat) is only $199.  Much cheaper than a new Corvette and I otherwise love my Jaguar.   I still would not mind 500 horsepower.

  1. You can't reach that number with a different computer chip and some freer-breathing pipes?

    1. I am not aware of any performance chip updates for the XF. They might be out there. My past experience with post-factory upgrades has been uimpressive.

    2. https://www.thortonchiptuning.com/product/jaguar-performance-chip/ has a chip that promises 60 more horsepower. That is a 20% gain. Hmmm.
