I have been making a lot of use of Word macros for this mass murder project and I have run into a few problems but I have been reluctant to debug the troublesome macros. (There is a lot of copying information such as publication city, newspaper title, date and page number that is so much faster and less error-prone using macros.) I finally reached the point where I learned out to use the debugger and was able to fix some mysterious problems. I am glad that I did.
If you find yourself doing something repetitive (such as grading student papers), learn about Word macros.
