The Speed of Russian Movement Tells Me the Ukraine Will Cease to Exist in a Couple of Days
Those who wanted Trump out to have less drama are probably congratulating themselves something silly.
Good article (from my perspective) on U.S. involvement in Ukraine by Reagan's former ambassador to the USSR.
This in particular stands out: "So far as Ukraine is concerned, U.S. intrusion into its domestic politics was deep—to the point of seeming to select a prime minister. It also, in effect, supported an illegal coup d’etat that changed the Ukrainian government in 2014, a procedure not normally considered consistent with the rule of law or democratic governance."
You don't have to be a Putin supporter to recognize that our ruling class and foreign policy establishment do not actually care about democracy in Ukraine any more than they care about clean elections in the U.S.
