Patent 269,766
Do I need to tell you the patentholder was from Texas?
I am reading Mary Roach's Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law. It is a hilarious examination of animal pest problems.
Interesting. It is probably legal, if somewhat ill-advised, because trip guns such as this directed at animals and not humans are probably not illegal. I doubt that a patent can be issued for such an arrangement.

ReplyDeleteCertainly not now.
DeleteGuessed at the caliber and then looked up the patent. Shouldn't have bothered. Heh.
