Photos.google.com incomprehensible
1. How do you select all photos?
2. How do you create a folder? Trying to share my wife's Maui pictures with our daughter.
I upload them to my Google Drive, then use the web interface to sort them. Making folders in Drive is trivial - right click on the drive folder from the web interface and select new folder...
1. I don't know of a way to select ALL photos, but there is multiple select: select the first photo and shift-click the last photo to select them and everything in-between. ctrl-click also does what you would expect.
I'm not sure if you can select all photos if you have a lot, but you can select a bunch by clicking on one to select it, then shift-clicking on another one to select it and all the ones between it and the first one.
To share a bunch of photos with someone else, I think you need to create an album and share that.
