You might find this interesting. People charged with murder overwhelmingly have previous arrest records. Baltimore PD found similar results. Victims are similar to murderers in previous criminal history. All the focus on black victims and offenders misses that this problem is concentrated in a small criminal subculture in black America, one that is usually prohibited from gun ownership or purchase. Any solution aimed at the general population (as most gun control laws are) is going to have limited benefits.
