I Just Bought a Leupold Sunshade for My Redfield Scope

In case you did not know, Redfield is basically the cheapest Leupold scopes now.  Very nice but not quite as fancy.

I had hoped it would screw into a Bushnell 40mm scope, but no, just a little too large.  Any idea where I might find one?

I might find aluminum tubing a few millimeters thicker than the outside of the scope tube and turn the inside to a couple millimeters larger, so it is a tight slide in place.

Any why a sunshade?  To get sunlight out of your eyes if shooting in the general direction of the Sun, and to make sure the glint from the objective does not disturb someone a way's off.
