I Will Be Teaching 14th Amendment History in the Spring

At the college whose name we dare not speak.  This should be entertaining. I may not assign a textbook, but just work through the decisions and the debates about passage and ratification.  I am sure that I have never read any of the state ratification debates

  1. I'm recalling that one or more of the Volokh conspiracy authors are continuously adding to a constitution casebook, which might be of interest. I suspect a search of their various archoves (Original, Washington Post era, and current Reason.org era) might have lots of useful stuff.
