Time to Step Up
You may not like Trump (he is a bit of an arrogant buffoon, when he isn't driving the Left mad), but defeating BLM and Antifa can only be achieved by peaceful means if we re-elect Trump. I think he has it in the bag, but I do not want to wake up the day after the election to President-Elect Biden. (Does anyone, besides Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris?) So I just made a contribution to the Trump campaign. Do your part.
I still see it as a choice between the frying pan and the fire. Either way you're cooked. Voting for the lesser of two evils still gets you evil. It is a false choice and one I won't make.
ReplyDeleteOn the Bookworm blog, the issue arose about whether it was necessary to vote if you lived in certain states. For example, here in California, I am 99.9999% confident that all this state's electoral votes will go to the Democratic nominee. So at first glance, it would seem my vote won't count.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we also have the National Popular Vote Compact movement wherein a number of states are promising to allocate their electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote. It won't go into effect until states whose electoral vote totals add up to 270 or more, but if people in blue states vote Republican and Trump wins the popular vote, this may put an end to the NPV compact for at least four years.
