What Do Police Do?

In most communities,  violent offenders can be handled by vigilantes.  Police make sure those accused of crimes get a chance at a fair trial and solve burglary and other crimes that are not easily solved at time of incident.   Anarchy will not be to leftist taste, especially in the ghettos.   In a real anarchy, the merchants hire firms that use machine guns to take looters captive, and sell them into slavery to recoup losses.
