It has several advantages over our current house. It is really quiet. Our current home is about 1 1/2 miles from ID-55, and when trucks or motorcycles downshift, you hear it. The new house is dead quiet.
The big day (moving big pieces of furniture) is Feb. 15. Helpers will get a chance to see how your favorite blogger lives and pizza. (Another advantage; we can order pizza delivered. Now we get guffaws in response.)
What about light pollution affecting your astronomy?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it will be quite as dark, but we are a long ways from Boise and Ada County which has a dark sky ordinance is very close.
