In Case Someone Whines That NRA Does Not Allow the Government to Fund Gun Violence Research

They claim we won't allow the government to fund such research.  Not true.  The Dickey Amendment is public law 104-208:

Provided further, That none of the funds made available for injury prevention and control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may be used to advocate or promote gun control:
