Gunfire rang out along a busy Toronto street Sunday night leaving three people dead, including the 29-year-old man alleged to have been the shooter.
Toronto police say a total of 14 people were shot by a man with a handgun. According to Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit, two people were killed by a man who “fired shots at groups of people several times” while walking along Danforth Avenue.
Impossible. Gun control advocates insist Canada is safe because of their strict gun control laws.

3. Politicians are called upon by their "constituents" do "do something" about this.
4. Politicians have only one power: to pass laws.
5. Politicians will always pass laws in response to demands from their voters.
6. The laws they pass will be obeyed (reluctantly) by the people who already follow the existing laws.
7. violent people already ignore existing laws; to expect them to obey NEW laws is illogical, unreasonable, and ultimately .. ineffective.
8. In the meantime, new laws hamstring the ability of the law-abiding citizens to protect themselves, their family, their home and property.
