Women's rights attorney Gloria Allred has withdrawn from representing Summer Zervos in her defamation suit against President Donald Trump.
"Our withdrawal has nothing to do with the merits of her case against President Trump," Allred said. "We will have no comment regarding the reasons for our firm's withdrawal. We continue to wish Summer the very best in her pursuit of justice."
Zervos, a former contestant on NBC's "The Apprentice," filed a defamation suit against Trump in January 2017, alleging that he defamed her after calling her a liar when she publicly accused him of sexual misconduct....
Zervos alleges she went to Trump for career advice after being cut from the show and that Trump kissed her twice on the lips during a lunch meeting in his New York City office and also kissed her "very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast" on a separate occasion in Beverly Hills. Both alleged incidents happened in 2007.
Allred broke the news of the allegations by holding a press conference with Zervos in California in October of 2016 —just weeks before the presidential election.
Just weeks before the election--just like the Roy Moore allegations. Curious. I do not doubt that many of the accusations of misconduct are real, but stuff like this makes me wonder how many are just Democratic Party politics.

People with truthful accusations call the cops, file charges, or initiate a civil action proximate to any real event.
People with truthful accusations do not go the the media, or hire grandstanding talking head mouthpieces.
I also don't doubt that Trump has made inappropriate comments to women over the years and probably at a minimum pinched some bottoms, etc. Never-the-less he is still an amateur compared to Billy Boy.
ReplyDeleteEven if Trump was guilty of child rape and murder he was still a better choice than Hillary and I would still have voted for him regardless (as painful as that would be).
Am I the only one who feels like voting has become like being a prison inmate who is forced to pick between joining one of the gangs to avoid being gang rapped and then finding out it just protects you from being raped by both gangs (maybe). :-O
