Do Any of You Grow Cotton?
I would like some unginned cotton for the discussion of the cotton gin for my American history class. Ordered on eBay.
Not that it would help you, but it's possible to see cotton being ginned (and wool being carded) at an outdoor museum called Greenfield Village. The Village is part of a museum complex called The Henry Ford, and is located in Dearborn, MI.
I've visited the village and the museum complex many times.
A little searching brought this blog post up, which has pictures of the buildings, but not of the cotton-gin being run.
I see that you've already ordered...
