Awesome Video
Not sure I believe the Milky Way panic story at the start, but many Angelenos live not only in a political bubble, but a reality bubble also.
I lived in North Burbank during the earthquake, and IIRC it was somewhat overcast that early morning. Since that part of the SF Valley tends to have clearer skies than the Basin, I doubt the story.
Also, the phone lines (that were working) were pretty well tied up with other 9-1-1 calls.
