WASHINGTON — The House on Wednesday easily passed a sweeping expansion of the right to carry concealed firearms virtually anywhere in the country, putting the fate of the National Rifle Association’s top legislative priority in the hands of a divided Senate. The same bunch that persuaded the court to strike down sodomy laws and "one-man, one-woman" marriage laws is going to ask "What about states rights?" The answer is "They largely died when the 14th Amendment was ratified. The first nail in the coffin lid was Brown v. Board of Education. The last was Obergefell. Don't make tools you don't want others to wield."
