I have absolutely no idea why you were looking for three Brown bess bullets and a flint. In the footnote on page 63 of my book I noted the Brown Bess fired a bullet 1/29th of 2 pounds in weight. It computes to 0.68 inches diameter. It will be interesting if what you purchased is that diameter.
I need something to pass around to American History class to emphasize the risks Revolutionary militiamen were taking. The flints were not really needed.

ReplyDeleteThe bullets are nice, but you really need a Brown bess Bayonet. I'll jokingly say it has a point. But it is also expensive.
