One-tap Boost

I found this app on my phone and it seems to be mostly an ad server which is annoying.   I would like to remove it from my phone,  but it does not show in the Application Manager.  Because this was apparently installed by some other app,  I am reluctant to trust any of the free virus removers unless I know it works.

  2. Also, Avast has a good rating for Android virus protection.

  3. Steve: No, I removed that one a while back. One-Tap Boost has a Romanian email address. I rather doubt he is going to tell me how to remove it

  4. Avast does not seem to know about this stinker.

  5. If it's an android phone, and it's this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.edm.onetapboost&hl=en and you are feeling brave, you should be able to use the android SDK to get rid of it: connect to your phone to your PC and use
    adb uninstall ro.edm.onetapboost
    from a command line.

  6. If it doesn't show up, perhaps it is part of another app you downloaded. If you have any dodgy apps, try uninstalling them. Anything you have installed can be re-installed as long as it is in the app store.
