"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." -- Rom. 8:28
This is by the author of The Little Ice Age, Brian Fagan. He claims to believe in anthropogenic global warming, even though his book is powerful evidence against it.
I am reading a book (Against the Grain, by James C. Scott) that mentions the possibility that the Little Ice Age was brought on by (a) a decrease in atmospheric CO2, caused by (b) a decrease in "fire farming" in North America, which was caused by (c) decimation of the Native American population, which was caused by (d) Europeans importing epidemic diseases. Provocative! No idea if it's nonsense.

ReplyDeletePaul: Little Ice Age starts 1250 or 1300--two centuries before Columbus. I think we can discount that theory.
