Sunspots
Yes, just looking at them through the refractor. Two of them only. One huge, one just South of it, small (Earth diameter or close). No pictures; the refractor because of the apochromat corrector, does not have enough in focus for the camera.
Hasn't there been a dearth of sunspots for a number of years now? When was the Maunder Minimum named, and how was that name selected? If this is a similar minimum, will it be called the Gore Minimum or perhaps the Gore Deficit?

I cannot remember it but a name j has already been proposed for the current minimum. And yes, it is warming relayed.
