Isaac Newton, Heretic
If there is any question why his commentaries on Revelations and Daniel were published after his death, read his An Historical Account of Two Notable Corruptions of Scripture: In a Letter to a Friend. This is a very detailed analysis of why the Trinity is a later interpolation into Christian doctrine. I do not much care about this question; just interesting how much Newton cared, in an age when heresy was still risky.
