Different Backup Strategies

There are incremental backups and full backups.  Incremental backups (such as Windows 7 offers) are good if you may have several different versions of a file, and you want to go back to a particular version.  But they gobble up disk space.  I generally use a full backup, with backups of recently modified files.  I just discovered that my sci-fi novel at some point lost the last several chapters, and all my backups are of the most recent (bad) version.

No, I was looking in the wrong directory!
