Don't know what Obama's response might have been, but I think that can say with some certainty that a successful North Korean attack on US bases, or even a serious attempt to hit US with a missile, regardless of actual warhead, would lead to Trump using the "football" to incinerate Pyongyang and everything for 50 miles around it.
