California's Governor Needs a Copy of the U.S. Constitution:
California Gov. Jerry Brown said Monday his state will bypass Washington, D.C., and work instead with foreign governments on ways to reduce climate change.
Brown, a Democrat, said that he and other Golden State lawmakers would work directly with other countries to strengthen some of the most stringent environmental policies in the world.
“California can make a significant contribution to advancing the cause of dealing with climate change, irrespective of what goes on in Washington,” Brown told reporters.
I am glad to have left, but sorry for what is coming. They barely have a budget, their debt to those foreign countries makes them practically owned by them, they soon will be importing everything- energy, food, materials- since it can't be produced internally. Granted people have been predicting the demise of California for a number of years. But given what Brown is now planning to do in his final years, one can only asked what Newsom will need to do to make his administration stand out. And like North Korea, we are talking about a state with 40 million people. Correction N. Korea only has 25 million people. Can we as a nation handle such a collapse???
