The Fun of Being a Minion

I photographed a number of pages without reading them thoroughly.  One of my minions, after observing how hard it was to read Samuel Colt's handwriting, found this bright spot:

I am reading a letter Sam Colt sent to Commodore Matthew Perry about pistols! It does not get any more historically cool than that. (IMG_1560)
