Clever Way to Cut 60 Degree Angle
I need to cut a 60 degree angle with a cutoff saw whose range only goes to 45 degrees. Any suggestions for techniques?
Rich: Good idea but this would require putting the workpiece perpendicular to the back fence, so easy way to clamp it down. (I tried.) Time write a slope program for the mill.
Cut a 15 degree wedge put against the fence and set the saw for 45
ReplyDeleteAdd a 15° wedge to the face of your 45° guide.

Flip the workpiece over and cut to 30 degrees?
ReplyDeleteRich: Interesting idea so obvious that it may not work but worth trying.
