Lanza Lawsuit

Next-of-kin of Newtown mass murder are suing Remington for selling an unreasonably dangerous weapon and Connecticut courts appear to want defendants to cross all the Ts and dot all the Is so that no one can say the judge did it wrong. One part of suit alleges "civilians are unfit to operate AR-15s": presumbably if Adam Lanza had been properly trained by the Army, all his shots would have missed?

Why aren't they suing Lanza's mother's estate for failure to secure the rifle?  Not deep enough pockets?

  1. Yes the Saudis will likely never be held accountable for their role in a much more impactful mass murder event.

  2. I wonder if the plaintiffs' lawyer has told them that they are on the hook for all of the legal defenses in this case? I suspect not.
