Positively Stalinesque

Oregon legislature considering a bill by which you can anonymously report someone as having a mental health emergency preventing gun purchase for 30 days.  The person gets no notice of this until she tries to buy a gun.  I can see estranged husbands doing this to make sure wife can't defend herself.  If someone is really dangerous, hospitalize them with all the due process that requires.  They will still be dangerous with knife or car.
