Fascinating Quirk of the Lenovo Docking Station

It has two DVI ports for hooking up monitors.  I accidentally left the SVGA cable hooked up to the external video port on the laptop, and suddenly the Control Panel Display program showed me more monitors to set up: the LCD panel on the laptop, and three external monitors.  If the SVGA cable went to another monitor, it could have been astonishing.
