CNC Mill

It's making all the right motions, although I have not tried cutting anything yet.
A couple of set screws on the Z-axis needed adjusting.

  1. You'll want to make a safety enclosure for it out of an impact resistant material. My friend Jason tried to run his out in the open at first, but a broken bit leaving the mill with enough energy to penetrate drywall convinced him otherwise.

  2. Plywood or sheet metal for the sides and 1/4" lexan for the front would work.
As lexan sheets can be expensive.
The protection does not have to be a full surround, just enough protection to catch or slow the cuttings.

One hint, turn the camera to landscape when shooting videos and turn it back to portrait for pictures.
