every once in awhile, NPR surprise me
like this story about how the New Deal segregated American citties.
In "To Sail Beyond the Sunset", Robert Heinlein describes Lazarus Long's parents, Brian and Maureen (nee Johnson) Smith, selling their long-time home to an agent that Brian suspects of fronting for a black family.
