  1. So one could have a "cannon, swivel, mortar, howitzer, or cohorn" in one's house, as long it was kept unloaded.

    That would give today's anti-gunners exploding heads.

  2. But if your fire-arms, cannon, swivel, howitzer, cohorn, or grenade is loaded then they are to seized by the fireward and held until a trial is held to determine if the seizure was correct. I think the modern NRA would freak out about that.
