STL Files
Any suggestions on which free 2D CAD program I should learn to produce STL files?
If you are primarily doing 3D work, perhaps Sketchup might work. I've been playing with it for wookworking purposes. I think you would need a plugin to get the STL output.
I can't recommend a specific program, but if you check out the forum on cnczone.com, they can probably point you at freeware.
