Trying To Touch Type
I am again trying to touch type with both hands. I am still getting some repeating characters from failure to pull up on fingers,, but I am getting better. It is exhausting akin to learning to touch type in 6th grade.
I never, in spite of several runs through typing class in jr and sr high school and 50 years of using a keyboard at work have learned to touch-type with both hands.
I touch type, sortof, with my left hand and hunt-and-peck with my right.
But one of the things I got to see in my younger days was AP Teletype™ operators runnin a 75 WPM machine at speed for hours at a time, using two index fingers and a thumb.
Be strong.
