God/s Not Dead (2014)
The film with a cameo by The Newsboys not the song by that nameby The NewsboysHere;s the traulrt
There are some ferocious reviews of it, buy I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it too. My wife and I made sure to watch it in the theater so our money (vote) would be counted. It seemed more appropriate as a made for TV movie and I thought some of the arguments the protagonist made were not as strong as they could have been but it was SO refreshing to see something argued that was good instead of the drek Hollywood normally puts out. On the other hand, it's a little depressing that it even has to be argued when in my childhood there was so much support for religion even in Hollywood.
There seems to be more movies coming out that counter the moral and political stance of Hollywood lately. I hope it continues.
