The Original Newtonian Reflector
Sir Isaac Newton invented the Newtonian reflector which is still the most widely used astronomical telescope design. To my shock, his original reflector still exists:
I've seen a number of this fellow's videos, and they are very interesting, as he goes through every stop on the periodic table.
