Exercise
I have started on my interval training exercise program, with the blessing of my cardiologist. The last couple of nights I have been starting with about ten minutes of building up to 3.0 mph (2.0, then 2.5, the 3.0), alternating with four minutes of 3.6 mph, followed by eight minutes of 3.0 mph. At the end, I often do a couple of minutes of 4.0 mph before a five minute cool down at 3.0 mph. And do I feel great!
Sounds like you spend an hour every day on your treadmill. Aren't you getting bored? And are you using a treadmill or an elliptical walker?
ReplyDeleteTreadmill. I generally watch movies on Netflix, some so-so (Spoils of War), some excellent (Saints and Soldiers), some dreadful (Event Horizon -- I turned it off part way through).
ReplyDeleteTreadmill! Your feet and ankles will regret that soon.
ReplyDeleteI must be tougher than I think. I have been treadmilling 12-18 miles a week for at least three years.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta have good shoes!
