Is The Amazon Search Widget Appearing on the Right Side Of My Blog?
I can't see it at the moment, but I am behind a fairly secure firewall.
UPDATE: Most people can see it, but the ones that can't are curious. I think it is firewall related, because I can certainly see it from home.
Since I can't seem to comment a screenshot, I'll describe it. Things included are: a picklist with Amazon sub-categories (e.g. Books, Music, etc.). a text box and a "Go" icon, suggestion list, Amazon.com logo, "Get Widget" icon, and a Privacy link.
Since I can't post a screen capture, I'll just say the features I'd normally expect (e.g. Amazon.com logo, sub-categories picklist, text box, "Go" icon, etc.) are there.
I'm behind a secure firewall, too, but in my case it's all about preventing inbound connections. We don't block any requests from inside, so far as I can tell.
yes
ReplyDelete2 items down on the right. below some "play" ad and an upgrade to windows ad.
ReplyDeleteYes I see it as "Amazon Search 2.0".

ReplyDeleteRight under the "Search This Site" gadget.
yes
ReplyDeleteNot seeing it in New Hampshire.
ReplyDelete(Finally a chance to comment helpfully.)
I see a "search this blog" box, with "Amazon Search 2.0" below it.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that would be it, unless you also have some other search widget.
Yes, it is appearing for me.
ReplyDeleteI can see it.

ReplyDeleteyep, I see it. It's not at the top though. I see SmartFurnture, Seearch this blog, Thai Girls looking for marriage, then Amazon.
ReplyDeleteIt is showing up on my desk top at work. Came up slower than the other items, but is there.
ReplyDeleteYep. Right there on top, and it seems to work also...
ReplyDeleteI can see it on my Windows 8 laptop, not on my Linux desktop.
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing it using Firefox 20.0.1.
ReplyDeleteI see a smartphone-like image that says 'Search Amazon' on it.
ReplyDeleteUsing Chrome, I can see it. Haven't tried to use it, but I've got $80 to my name until pay day.
ReplyDeleteI see it Clayton. No problem.
ReplyDeleteYes. "Amazon Search 2.0"
ReplyDelete"Amazon Search 2.0" as text appears, but no suggestion of a button or activity to be triggered.
ReplyDeleteLikewise your "Followers" thingie.
Cheers
I can't see it in Safari on my mac or Firefox on Windows 7.
ReplyDeleteApologies, now that Adblock Plus is disablled on my desktop, it shows up just fine. Duh.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's strange...
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see the gadget, and yesterday I posted here saying so, but now I don't see any such post from me.
Have I been "disapproved" or something, Clayton?
There were no other comments visible when I made my post. (Now I'm wondering if this one will show up or not.)
