Why I Live in Idaho
My son took this picture over the telescope garage yesterday:
I live outside Richmond Virginia and we have falcons, hawks, and barn owls living in the woods behind our house. There are a number of Bald Eagles within a few miles if you go towards the river. Predator birds seem to be doing well these days.
And our bird feeders have made us a favorite snacking location.
Osprey, AKA fish hawk. Getting a little late in the season to see them. The ones in Boise have already moved on.
ReplyDeleteHow far from the Payette are you?
About six or seven miles. I can see it from here, downslope.
