If I Wanted America To Fail
Marvelous video, although it makes it sound as though all of this was an intentional effort to destroy America, when really, it was a mixture of scientific ignorance, hypocrisy, crony capitalism, and godless Americans seeking a new religion: Gaea:
"scientific ignorance, hypocrisy, crony capitalism, and godless Americans seeking a new religion: Gaea"
It is a particularly bad form of scientific ignorance, what some have called, "Scientism", where the language of science is used, but in the service of religious ideas and goals. The casual observer would think that the scientific method was being used, but the facts that are to be proved are instead phrased slightly differently and taken as articles of faith. Classic begging of the question, but no one understands the idiom anymore.
