Real Estate Investment Trusts

I suspect some of you have professional expertise in this area.  Do REITs seem likely to be injured by Trump?  Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance (ARI) has a 105.1% 5 year total return and a 10.64% annualized dividend yield.  (Yes there's a reason. A bunch of Treasuries that I bought under par in 1994 with a 7.5% coupon matured today.  One of my better investment choices, made during one of the rare Treasury yield curve inversions.)
