Guns As Obscenity
The law professor I debated at Duke today has authored a law review article titled Guns As Smut:Defending the Home-Bound Second Amendment. He's taking the very Puritanical view that guns are a form of obscenity that like adult videos, are protected, but the states should have the authority to ban it everywhere else. This actually fits with the entire gun control mindset of feeling morally superior. He also argued that the wants of elk hunters in Montana should not take precedence over the wants and knowledge of states and cities elsewhere. To which i responded like the definition of marriage? Or abortion? Gun control progrssives will sell the rest of them down the river.

Does this mean that the law professor can't define "firearm", but can recognize one when he sees it?
